Boral Ltd
In association with BPPM Pty Ltd Murray Gough worked with Boral to develop, change and measure Boral’s contracting performance for major projects, over a ten year period, reporting to the Executive Management Team and the Board. All consultancy work resulted in the delivery of a competency-based and coaching program for all levels of contracting staff. This work included developing methodologies, procedures and toolsets (Manuals and SOPs) for both revenue and capital expenditure projects as well as annual reviews of organisational maturity development against customised Key Performance Indicators for Contracting and Business Management.
Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism (RET)
In association with BPPM Pty Ltd Murray Gough worked with RET to develop project management, including methodologies and manuals, over a three year period, reporting to the Deputy Secretary. All consultancy work resulted in the delivery of a competency-based and coaching program for all levels of project staff. It also included the publication of an Executive Guide and SES Workshops. KPIs were compiled for major projects so that measurement could be undertaken at program level; for internal measurement of results against the Portfolio Budget Statement.
Department of Public Works – Malaysian Federal Government
In association with SMEC Malaysia, GWBS Director, Murray Gough and Brian Franklin, Senior Consultant, undertook a five-year change program to revise and fully update the way project management was delivered. It involved the planning for a multi-level Project Management Information System (PMIS) through levels of methodology, procedures, work instructions with current and new tools, Gateway, Health Checks, and Partnering. It also involved extensive delivery of workshops and competency-based coaching for Kuala Lumpur-based senior management.
Energy Queensland (previously) Ergon Energy
In association with BPPM Pty Ltd Murray Gough worked with ERGON Energy to develop contracting management, including methodologies and manuals, for all Transmission and Distribution Service (TADS) projects over a five year period, reporting to the TADS Management Team. The work included the publication of a PM Manual for Netwrok Services. All consultancy work resulted in the delivery of a competency-based coaching program for all levels of project staff. Murray also worked with SPARQ Solutions to AIPM-Certify the ITC project directors and project managers (2008-2017).
Port of Melbourne (PoM)
In association with BPPM Pty Ltd Murray Gough worked with PoM to develop project management, including methodologies and manuals, over a five year period, reporting to the Management Team. All consultancy work resulted in the delivery of a competency-based coaching program for all levels of project staff.
